Words Have Power

Soul Script™ began with a simple belief: words matter.

The story behind the vision...

A single word can shape a moment, restore perspective, or remind us of something we may have forgotten about ourselves.

The bracelets I create are meant to carry encouragement, faith, and identity into everyday life - small reminders of something meaningful that can be worn close.

My love for creating began long before Soul Script existed. My mother shared her gift of crafting with me - a gift that I have proudly carried forward and developed into what it is today. I think of her every time I sit down to work on a piece. I remember the joy she felt when sewing, crocheting, or making wired jewelry, and the pride she took in everything she created. Her attention to detail and love for making things by hand continues to influence the way I approach every design or new idea.

Beyond creating, my life has been shaped by service and caring for others. I am a veteran and a registered nurse (just like my "Mami"), and throughout my career I have seen firsthand how powerful words can be. The right words can steady someone in a difficult moment or remind them of their strength when they feel uncertain.

Scripture reminds us of this truth:

"The tongue has the power of life and death,                                                                                            and those who love it will eat its fruit." - Proverbs 18:21

That truth is at the heart of Soul Script.

Each bracelet carries a word meant to be worn close - a quiet reminder of identity, faith, resilience, and purpose.

The world can be quick to define who we are, but Scripture tells us something different: we are created in the image of God, and He does NOT make mistakes.

Sometimes all we need is a small reminder of that truth.

A love for creating passed down from my mother - the woman who first showed me the beauty of handmade things, and who embodied grace in the way she lived, created, and loved.

This is for you, Mami.
